Epores Mesotherapy: No longer the celebrity secret
WHAT IS MESOTHERAPY?
Mesotherapy is a technique developed by a French doctor in the 1960’s and was originated for the treatment of pain syndromes and soft tissue injuries. The theory behind mesotherapy is that small amounts of medicine, directly targeted into the treatment area, offers significant advantages when compared with traditional, oral medication.
Mesotherapy ingredients are selected according to their specific actions on
cellular processes, and injected into the treatment area.
WHAT IS EPOREX MESOTHERAPY
Exporex Mesotheraphy is helping men and women all over the world to transform
the way they look and feel, combining the latest in transdermal delivery technology
with aesthetic mesotherapy protocols. Eporex offers the professional therapist
and practitioner alike, the most advanced non-surgical treatment options available
in cosmetic therapy today.
'Eporex' is a delivery system that introduces cosmetic formulations non-invasively
through the skin and into the tissue, without breaking the skin as with traditional
injections. This is achieved through the unique technology Isophoresis which pushes
nutrients deep into the skin (up to 10cm). The non-toxic cosmetic ingredients
are affected by an electric wave which creates electrically charged particles
in the substance, propelling them through the skin.

What Happens When You Go for an Eporex Treatment?
Prior to Treatment
You will initially have a consultation with an Eporex therapist in which the particular
problem is examined and your objectives are discussed. The treatment is explained
to you and a questionnaire is taken to ascertain your suitability for treatment. If
you’re having Targeted Fat Reduction treatments then an Eating Plan needs to be
agreed before you start the treatments. The Targeted Fat Reduction treatment is
the only treatment in which you have to actually do anything, because of how the
treatment works.
Preparation Ultrasound Treatment Treatments
are normally given on a treatment couch and you will need to remove any clothing
from around the treatment area and also jewellery. Before you actually have the
Eporex Mesotherapy treatment your skin is prepared. It should firstly be wiped
cleaned, such as with warm water and cotton wool, or with a disposable wipe. As
well as cleaning the area, any cosmetics including make-up should be removed.
Eporex ultrasound is then used. The skin is moistened with warm water and then
the Eporex ultrasound probe is moved across the skin. It creates a pressure in
the water on the skin’s surface and thrusts the liquid off the skin, taking with
it small particles of dirt and make-up from the skin and pores, as well as dead
skin cells. This process is important as it offers a more hygienic treatment and
increases the efficacy of the main treatment by reducing barriers to the transdermal
delivery of the vitamins, minerals and amino-acids.
Are there any Risks?
There are virtually no risks with this treatment. There have been no serious adverse
side effects reported to date. At most, an allergic reaction to one of the ingredients
might occur, producing slight redness which will be noticeable within minutes
of the treatment, in which case, you will not be able to continue treatment.
Eporex treatments should not be carried out if the client is fitted with a pacemaker,
has recently had a serious medical condition, is pregnant or breast feeding, or
suffers from severe asthma or epilepsy. A full consultation is given before treatment
commences.
