| Eporex Mesotherapy: Recommended Balanced Low Carb Diet |
Eporex Low Carb Balanced Diet
With the Eporex Targeted Fat Reduction treatment , you develop an Eating Plan
in conjunction with your therapist. The Eating Plan is designed to work in synergy
with the treatment and based, as much as possible, to suit your preferences; to
make it achievable.
The Targeted Fat Reduction treatment is the only Eporex treatment that requires
you to do something to achieve the treatment objectives.
In order to appreciate the need for the Eating Plan it’s important to understand
how the treatment is working.
When we eat sugary foods they turn into glucose in the body. Glucose is the quickest
source of energy for the cells in the body but when we have too much glucose it
can turn into fat. Many foods like rice, potatoes, bread and pasta contain high
levels of carbohydrate. In the body, carbohydrate turns into liquid fat (fatty
acid) which flows through the body. Liquid fat, like glucose, is a source of energy
for the cells in the body but if unused it will settle most easily around the
thighs, buttocks and stomach as solid fat (triglycerides).
The Eporex treatments are breaking down the targeted fat and mobilising them;
it is accelerating the fat burning processes and making them more available to
be used as a source of energy by the cells in the body.
This means that it is essential to cut down your dietary intake of glucose and
carbohydrate for a short period of time as your body will burn the fat that has
been mobilised and targeted from the treatment area, with often dramatic results.
